Let's talk about great souls

Mother Theresa became a known name to countless millions of people worldwide and was described as one of the great souls that changed the world during the latter part of the 20th century. She served the poor, the rejected, the destitute and the dying, and changed darkness to light for millions of people. She became a symbol and glowing example of a transformed life transforming her world.

She was, committed, compassionate, identified with the poor and dying, and served them with all her strength. She lived out the total significance of agape love- the giving of one’s life, and demonstrated what the light is, and she pointed the way for millions of others to find.

She radiated the love of Jesus and was obedient to do God’s will in her life. Deservedly, in 1979, she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, the most prestigious award given in human recognition of attainment. Indeed, Mother Theresa lived a life of honor and allowed herself to be a vessel, reaching out to millions.

Those who allow themselves to be used as vessels of honor, to reach out to touch the lives of others, will discover that they are living life at its deepest, and most rewarding.
Love and kindness do not dominate, they cultivate and hold society together.
