TO 'CARA' - FIRST CRUSH (AN ORIGINAL POEM)
This poem is my submission for this week @hopehuggs #runawayrhymes. The topic for this round is first or worst...
(Also, this post also serves as my first official post for the 10 day challenge run by @merej99.. As such my next nine posts would also be entries for the challenge)
The poem could be a first or worst anything. In my case, it a first.. This poem also serves as the very first poem i ever wrote. So incidentally, my entry actually covers two first; poem and crush.
The original poem doesn't rhyme, so i had to make some modifications in order for the poem to be eligible for this contest.
TO 'CARA' - FIRST CRUSH
Your smile as radiant as the sun,
Your face as glowing as the moon,
You rivals the angels with your beauty and grace.
Your teeth a delightful white.
You stand tall among millions,
Pride, intelligence and all.
You the only gem in the whole town,
an unrivaled jewel in no man's crown.
You are no king's servant,
and no master tart.
You are free and strong just as the wind.
You are a symbol of freedom,
ever fighting, never giving up.
Your will as strong as a horse, never give up without force
You are "cara",
A gal that rules her domain,
A gal with beauty that intoxicate,
A gal with class.

This is awesome @dean-mno - it's hard to believe that this is your first poem. I wonder if Cara is real; if you changed her name, and does she hold a special place in your heart still? The words tell me yes. :)
Maybe the poem was this good because Cara(yes,name changed) was a great muse@merej99...
And we have remained good friends till today.... 5,6 years now....
That's sweet :) I had a feeling. It's hard to make up stuff like that unless you've got a powerful muse to help conjure those words :)
Yeeeaah...#nods head..... Seeing that i haven't been able to do a sort of this poem for another person... Cara is just too powerful
