I'm surprised you guys didn't destroy the stereo after an hour or so of driving. I can't listen to the radio for more than 7 or 8 minutes, lol. I'd bring a portable power bank with you and just play an audiobook or podcast or some music you actually enjoy on your phone next time, bud.
Also, I kinda feel bad it took me like 20 minutes to see your text message about those roads now, lol. I didn't know you were legit lost.
I just need something playing while I drive. I kept throwing on classical, so I knew what the music would be like for a set amount of time. She wasn't having it so we scanned every few minutes catching a good song here and there. Once we got to the last 70 miles there was one station, period.
Never really thought about doing an audiobook, that's not a bad idea.
It would not have mattered if you texted directly back, I did not see the reply until well after we left and the cells started working again, lol.
Yeah, Tristin and I usually listen to a specific Podcast when we take long trips. I'll mix in an audiobook or two as well, really helps pass the time along on trips for sure. I think you can get a free audiobook of your choice with audible if you sign up with a promo code or have Amazon Prime.
Well, that makes me feel a bit better then, haha. That kind of stuff makes me consider trying to find a used satellite GPS device for long trips in case we need it.
We do have prime, I will check it out.
We have the Samsung S9+ and it doesn't have that feature to switch to satellite. My old Blackberry did and if it had not broke I would honestly still have that phone as it ALWAYS worked. Underground up to six floors at work in DC and in the mountains as well.
