That is a great quote and I really love it! Pride and jealousy are probably the sneakiest and most destructive forces in our lives. And they destroy in such subtle ways at first that we hardly even notice. But as we allow it to take over it begins to feed on the love, peace and joy of life until all that we once cared about is a smoldering ruin, a heap of burned ashes of what were once, or what could have been fond memories.
