Plastic recycling! PET (POLYETHYLENE TEREFTALATE)
Hello Steemians !!
On this occasion I will show you the plastic recovery process and each of the steps to be carried out. The material to be recovered is transparent PET (polyethylene terephthalate). We commonly see it as a container for soft drinks and mineral water. We look for this material in communities, schools, shopping centers and garbage dumps, reducing the amount of non-biodegradable material in each of your waste.
PET
It is a linear thermoplastic polymer, with a high degree of crystallinity. Like all thermoplastics it can be processed by extrusion, injection, injection and blow molding, preform blowing and thermoforming. To avoid the excessive growth of spherulites and lamellae of crystals, this material must be quickly cooled, with which greater transparency is achieved. The reason for their transparency when cooled rapidly is that the crystals do not reach full development and their size does not interfere ("scattering") with the path of the wavelength of visible light, according to the quantum theory.

✅ Step 1:
The material is thrown to the machine.
✅ Step 2:
The material is rinsed with plenty of water so that excess dirt can be thrown away.

The degreaser and liquid soap are applied to wash the material.
The punt is cleaned to throw the material.
✅ Step 4:
The gate for the exit of the washed and pre-ground material is opened.

The material is placed in bags, ready for sale.

Well Steemians this has been the whole PET👍 recovery process. The entire process they saw in the images and in the video takes between 8 and 10 minutes. This material is sold to companies with a greater production line and who can use the recycled material to produce final products. For now we only have this process since we are starting and we only have 3 months operating. There are other materials that we also process and that I will publish little by little.
