A Shot Of The Moon This Night 8.4.2020
The moon this night. The light of the moon or the moonlight. It is the moon that has its own light. I would rather go by the scriptures about the moon than the science of the world.
The science of the world would say that the moonlight is the reflection of the sun, the sun light. Yet the sunlight and the moonlight act differently from each other.
They are both set in the firmament along with the stars. As it is written, And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: the stars also. Genesis 1:16.
So right there we see there were two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, that would be the sun, and the lesser light to rule the night, that would be the moon.
I mentioned that the two great lights act differently from each other. For the greater light, the sun has light that is warmer in its light than in its shade. Then if you look at the lesser light, the moon has light that is cooler in its light than in its shade. The two lights act differently from each other as they are two different lights and they act differently from each other.
We all know that we could take a magnifying glass and focus it in the sunlight and it would be hot enough to burn wood. Yet if you get a magnifying glass and focused the moonlight through the magnifying glass then that would increase the coolness of the moon light.
So the two great lights are in the firmament along with the stars. So these lights move within the firmament. The world will not want to acknowledge the firmament as the firmament is solid and firm.
As it is written, Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass? Job 37:18. So the firmament is strong and as a molten looking glass. That sounds pretty solid to me. Also it is written, And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above. Ezekiel 1:22. So the firmament is described as the colour of the terrible crystal. So we have strong as a molten looking glass and as the colour of the terrible crystal. Yes, that sounds very solid to me.
So the moon is shining bright this night, with its cool light, whose light is cooler in its light than in its shade.
Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies my meditation. Psalm 119:99.
