Time Lapse - Crisis at 30th
When they reach their 30th birthday, many people experience a crisis. They feel that life flows, time passes quickly, and soon they will cease to exist (unless there is an afterlife 😁). Everyone experiences this crisis differently. Women begin to seek more carnal pleasures to feel younger or indulge in other types of entertainment. In men, however, it is not so uniform.
Some look for someone younger, falling into so-called childish behaviors: gaming, partying, light women , while others, including me, realize that the wonderful world we live in has remained undiscovered. We look for free minutes to indulge in our hobbies or travel the world. If there is a lack of understanding and compromise, this may lead to a broken family. It is said that with old age comes wisdom.
You may realize your mistakes, but the will is what helps to overcome these difficult stages. Once you let the crisis consume you, it is the will that can help you to overcome it. And why are we so self-absorbed? Why don't we survive the crisis with our families?
There are things stronger than us: habits and upbringing, the character we've built over the years and the problems we've overcome or indefinitely locked away. Let's now review some hobbies and how we can use them to overcome the crisis with our family.
Drawing and writing
Artists have tortured souls. We pour our pain and our soul into what we create. Sometimes, we like to be alone with our muse - our heart. I have had a case where, because of problems at home or work, I grabbed my bag or a book and went somewhere for a few hours, alone with my thoughts, a notebook and a pen.
This is a weak character. Yes, a minute's rest is like nirvana, but when you need to be alone the most, why not be with your family? Children are like absorbent sponges – let them be your soothing hobby/talent - and it can be fun.
Start drawing and you will notice how the child becomes interested and wants to draw, too. And now look at the final results – the child’s drawing may be ugly, but isn't it funny how you smeared paint/ink all over yourself and how you laughed.
Travel
I start the car and go. I drive to the forest, to the sea…no matter where. Just to be alone. Crisis again. Instead, go with your family - don't you think your wife wants to rest after a whole day of work, cooking or picking up the dirty socks from the floor?
If you don't have a child, this is another way to bond your relationship. One time, go where you want; another time, go where she wants. And if it's a forest or sights , why not have fun? 😄
Experiments make a relationship more stable, and you'll feel young without even looking for someone younger than you. The guard is watching you "snuggle" in the monastery . And what a fun memory for you to talk about later. You see, it's not that hard. Most of the things I write are from personal impression and opinion; of course, each person controls his/her own actions.
