In the city owning a pet has definitely become a challenge for animal owners. if you take you pet for a walk be sure to bring a poop bag in case lest you suffer the guilt and shame especially if someone sees your pet pooping and you don't pick it up ! Here in the city if you get caught you can get a ticket, which can cost you up to $200 dollars, expensive. Never the less like the old adage where does a bear shit? The answer is always the same, anywhere it has to.
So whenever you go for a long promenade in any park you have to be conscious of where you are stepping just in case, otherwise you could find yourself trying to clean off whatever and it could be a smelly and messy task.
My thoughts are all pet owners wishing to enjoy the outdoors in the city should always try be responsible and be ready to clean up any accidental leavings by their pets in an orderly an timely fashion.

Dude. We've all stepped in dog poop. However, here in South Africa, in the town that I live in, we also have to content with cow, goat, pig and horse. Also sometimes chicken and goose. And let me tell you, NOTHING poops like a goose.

Unfortunately i have, plus other many animals helping my father on his ranch when i was younger.
some say it's luck
I have 3 dogs over 60 pounds. Poop happens! Back yard is loaded with land mines on any given day.
