Wild Horses At The Waterfall
Yesterday's post was about La Alegria, today we went to the next view point La Intocada which translates as the untouchable. Given its name we were obviously intrigued to find out what it was going to be like.
We didn't really know anything about this waterfall , but as the path got narrower we could see an opening which led to the most mind blowing view. When you've been trekking through the dark forest, finding an opening like this is really exciting. The view from the top of the waterfall here is treacherous - one wrong step and you'd fall over 100 metres down.
We carried on trekking, this time back down, to try and find the base of this falls. On the way, we made friends with some wild horses.
There were still no people around at this point, but we knew that there was a horse ranch close by, so guessed they could belong to the owners.
The falls were really impressive, especially after standing at the very top only moments earlier. The falls were really strong, and the spray soaked everything (including my camera).
