More from the festival

Festival San Pedro and San Pablo only takes place once a year, so we were incredibly lucky to be in town for this event.

The festival is a great fusion between the atacameños culture, and the Spanish catholic religion that was brought over when Spain colonised most of South America. This festival has traditional dancing, music, vivid colours and food. The streets are filled with locals honouring the patron saint of San Pedro, and enjoying their lives.
