My day with camera. Mój dzień z aparatem. #2

Martin Street never was interesting, but... Kevin's Cooper shop and garage is now demolished, from car park ( meeting point for prostitutes), we can see now "The Duke of Cornwall Hotel". It is one of most beautiful buildings in Plymouth.

Full history of this place, you can find on: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duke_of_Cornwall_Hotel
It's famous guests list is very interesting: Charlie Chaplin, Suzi Quatro, Hale and Pace, Cameron Mackintosh, Lionel Blair, Alan Clarke and Dame Janet Fookes...
It looks like next visitor on parking, was from Las Vegas ;)

At Millbay Road, there is lot of bronze stars, memorizing those Plymouth visitors.
And Mickey Mouse was there? ;)

Millbay... it's interesting place now, full of new luxury apartments and yachts, but I don't want to place too many pictures in one post ;)

Jego gośćmi były takie osoby jak: Charlie Chaplin, Suzi Quatro, Hale and Pace, Cameron Mackintosh, Lionel Blair, Alan Clarke and Dame Janet Fookes
W pobliżu znajduje się ściana z tablicami pamiątkowymi.
Następnie udałem się do Millbay, gdzie obecnie buduje się najdroższe w mieście apartamenty i można sobie zaparkować w marinie swój jacht ;)
Reszta, kolejnym razem, Pozdrawiam.

The second and third images are particularly nice. Photos showing the interaction between old and modern architecture are fascinating. The second image is also very nicely composed, with that angled form (roof?) helping to lead the eye to the tower. Very nicely taken!

It was taken from car park, and I used fragment of old stone wall for composition :)
