I am not a leader

I am not a leader so don't make the mistake of seeing me as one

In the crypto-space there are those who actively position themselves to be "thought leaders". I want to make clear in this statement that I'm not one of those people competing for that position. I am not a thought leader. In fact, the only person I'm suited to lead at this time is myself and even that might not be working in my favor. Anyone who follows my very unwise and uninformed opinions is making a big mistake. Just as I do not give financial advice, I do not consider myself any sort of leader.

The problem with being a thought leader

By becoming a leader it sets whoever is in that position up as being the potential single person of failure. If that person fails then just like with any kind of centralization the whole pyramid collapses. When I post blogs which contain my opinions I do not consider my opinions to be necessarily right. My opinions are merely a result of my current best interpretation and analysis of the information I have access to.

I may not have access to the high quality information from which to make decisions. I am subjected to disinformation, misinformation, and like anyone else I make mistakes. I have my own biases, and I'm as ignorant as anyone else. If I am being an analyst, attempting to analyze trends, ultimately I am doing what other people can do and many can do it better than I can.

It's a miracle that I'm still here

The fact that I have survived and avoided big trouble for this long considering the circumstances is in itself miraculous. I attribute a lot of this to good luck, and not everyone will be as lucky when in similar circumstances. Depending on your perspective, a lot of that good luck might not appear as good luck in comparison to the much better luck others have had. The fact is that I understand due to the disadvantages of my own background and from life experiences that luck plays a much larger role in outcomes than people give credit. Where you are born, when you are born, the laws in the country and how they are enforced, the preset opinions of other people, all of this are aspects of life which people are born into and must navigate. If you even discovered cryptocurrency in time to make an account on Steemit and earn what many others doing 40 or 80 hours a week don't earn then you're lucky.

When I say it is a miracle I'm still here it is literal. Any mistake I make could be the final mistake. Any decision I make could be the last decision. I have enough uncertainty in life that I cannot really predict the results of my decisions. The fact that I survived so many bad decisions over such a long period of time can only be attributed to luck. Being aware of that, I am always trying to reduce the quantity of and severity of the bad decisions and focus a lot on improving my decision quality over time, as this luck can run out.

Crypto leaders really do

Public exposure and branding is like climbing a cliff. The more you have, the higher the potential fall. The higher the fall, the higher the probability of being dead for good.

you are right bro.

I prefer a more simple approach.

Plus, I don't like the idea of being followed.

I misread: I am not a dealer
lol

I read with great interest how and why you considered yourself not a leader, but from every indication, you're a leader. The picture of the type of person consider a leader here does not exist anywhere as no human is 100% perfect. We are prone to errors and those errors help to shape our mentality and understanding.

I think looking for leadership from complete strangers is a mistake. Just observe people.

Stop believing that what happens in your life is down to the vagaries of luck, destiny, supernatural forces, malevolent other people, or anything else outside your self.

Not everything is luck but luck is involved.

@dana-edwards Luck is just the sum of successive coincidences. Yet, it's so significant to have good luck in any step you take in life.

What do you mean it is a miracle you're still here? What sort of mistake could exclude you? This was like talking about life and not just the Steemit platform.

I agree with your words. Another thing that can be analyzed is that it may not be. Therefore, the analyst should not blame.
thanks for advice

I suppose you are what you label yourself because that is reality to you. Intriguing commentary I hope the best for you and maybe your interesting thoughts posted on here can result in a better life for you. I found your article on steemconnect, feel free to check my posts out if you like @cryptkeeper17. Great stuff @dana-edwards UPVOTED

“Quod me non destruit, me nutrit”. Perhaps you chose the best possible solutions. That's why you're still here

I definitely didn't and do not choose the best possible solutions (optimal solutions). I choose/chose the solutions which I think/thought is best based on the circumstances, my current understanding and or knowledge, my experiences, and quality of information I have.

I am not the wisest person on the earth. I am not experienced in all areas. I make subpar decisions all the time. I'm still here because of luck not because I don't make mistakes. Humans are quite limited in common ways and so no human is in my opinion truly wise.

I accept that I do not know much and barely get by with all that I do not know.

There are no ideal people. You know it, I know it. People tend to be wrong. This is an invaluable meritorious experience, which should be appreciated)
