365 Days That Count - Day 95 - A rainbow at the end of a shitty day.
Today was interesting to say the least.
We shot in studio again so it should have been easy. Sadly that was not to be. Firstly one of the models, a 3 year old called Madison, went wild and eventually we had to quietly ask her dad to take her home as it was upsetting the other children.
It all seemed to go tits up from there.
The stylist had organised for rugs and a sofa to be delivered to the studio in advance and when the art director checked them she hated them so new ones had to urgently be sourced. The shots were painfully slow and when we eventually broke for lunch it was only to discover that the restaurant we had booked didn't cater for the vegan, gluten free, bean free stylist so I had to mission around town with her trying to find some of the short list of ingredients she actually eats.
The silver lining was finally wrapping for the day, lugging all the gear back up to the van and finding a rainbow in the sky. Sometimes it really does have to be about the little things....
I hope you all had far better days than I did but tomorrow's another one and it certainly can't be worse.
Love,
Daisy xx
