Quotes That Make You Think

Hello Steemitians!

This is merely my 2nd post after my introduction. I haven't picked my niche yet, and I'll probably end up writing about different things. But for now, I wanted to start with what I believe most of us like, quotes. Be it from songs, books, TV, ads etc...words are very powerful. Some like funny quotes, others love quotes, others inspirational and so on so forth. I myself, like quotes that make me think, or struck a deep chord in me. 

Below I will post a handful of quotes that I consider to be philosophical, deep, meaningful, powerful. It is a matter of perspective, so to me it be a deep quote, while to you it may seem cliche. Either way, here it goes. 

Please note, all the picture-quotes belong to me, and while there is a website name watermarked on each of them, I am not here to advertise it. I did own that website, but it is no longer live.
