A cigar review #1 - Vegueros Mananitas

in #life7 years ago

Hello, guys.
How are you? I've been really busy these days so I have not posted for a while.
So, in the next posts I'll writing about cigar reviews and its tastes. As you can read from title, my first and favourite cigar is Vegueros Mananitas from Cuba. What's important to know about cigars? My answer is what taste it has, how strenght is cigar, where it comes from and price. Let's begin!

Something from the past related for Vegueros:
-one of the youngest brands of cigars designed in 1996 in honor of the farmers plantations of tobacco that are hanging their cigars.
-they were made in the building of the former prison that has become a cigar factory in 1961.

Characteristics, origin and other things:
-The Vegueros cigars come from Cuba, more specifically from the region Vuelta Abajo.
-this type of cigar is known as Figurado. It means that it's tapered at one end.

Measures:
-Lenght: 4 inces
-Ring gauge: 46
-Flavor: vegetal, wooden; it has three types of flavors: in the first phase it's like a mainly straight up tobacco, spice, then in second phase the taste become from light to medium strenght, and know it's tasty like wood, but with some sweet flavor, I don't know, something like cherry. In the last phase you can feel very strong strenght of cigar, you also can think that Vegueros Mananitas is full-bodied strenght cigar but it doesn't.
-for this cigar you have to use straight (guillotine) cutter

-as the lighter I used the Cohiba matches and wooden paper. Why? I wrote about it in my first post about cigars. Here is the link = https://steemit.com/life/@cubanolux/the-cigar-etiquette-how-to-smoke-light-cut-and-other-things-related-to-cigars

I'm enjoying in the burning top of the cigar. I'm trying to bring it to perfection, so it looks like this:

When I ask myself, why Vegueros is my favourite, I can say that the answer is because Vegueros Mananitas has that torpedo shape, cause it isn't too big, and of course the taste is amazing. This cigar perfectly goes with an special Single Malt but rare wisky - Corriemhor cigar reserve.

Price of Vegueros Mananitas is acceptable, about 6€ or 7,3$, and price of wisky is about 60€ or 75$.

I hope you enjoy in this review and get new info about this product.
Stay good!
