What I'm looking forward to the most in technological advancement is self driving cars becoming common. My commute is an hour every day 5 days per week and that's 5 hours of my week that's wasted.
I suppose the elimination of poverty is also pretty high up there as in however many years industries will become more and more automated and require less Human Resources to function. This is a good and a bad thing as initially jobs will be lost to machines / robots (I work in automation at a large auto parts supplier as a machine designer so i see it first hand) but at some point we'll probably (hopefully) see the fruits of high levels of automation benefit the masses.

Hey @cryptokeepr, id like to see our governments taking a proactive approach rather than a reactive one, knowing what governments are like though i cant see it happening!? the machines will create abundance but unless we somehow learn to do away with greed and intolerance the rich will become immensely richer, money is the main cause! at the point of abundance why would we need it?, i really hope we get our act together fast! and on the driver-less car subject im looking forward to not having to own a car, there will be a time when we can just subscribe to an app :) you could use the extra 5hrs a week to blog and earn money on the way :)
