Why Do You Do It?

As the caption above says from Elon Musk, if you have to be inspired to do something then why do it in the first place? Don't sit and wait for inspiration...Go and BE THAT INSPIRATION. I find it borderline insanity that people complain and whine about all the negatives in life and yet they refuse to look at their own reflection. If your life is garbage and you hate the direction it is going, don't blame others or find excuses. The only one that can change it is YOU. Sure it is ok to ask for help when it is needed; that certainly does not make you a bad person or weaker person, but, you must be the one that chooses the path to walk down. You must be the one who has to sacrifice and hurt and feel the pain of failure, no one else.

You have to figure out what makes you alive, what pushes you to fight through the adversity. Listen to yourself, be who you want to be, not what others want you to be. Don't live life for others, but understand that your dreams, hopes and the time you spend on realizing those goals needs to be your life, that you must be consumed by it. Write your own story, your own history. Don't let someone else pen the book of your life. You must become the author, the lead actor and all the other parts to truly live...otherwise why do it in the first place?
