I'm very sorry for such a late comment. I bookmarked your post a while ago but I didn't really managed to read it through until now.
Seriously great topic. It's hard not to see how access to mobile devices changed the way people communicate. It's very easy for me to see that, partly because few years ago I've lost my phone and I didn't bother to buy new one for over 3 years.
I got used to live without having constant access to internet. Without checking social media and emails every moment. So I had more time to observe others. And I don't think I like where we're all heading towards.
