FEMI ADESINA'S LATEST ''MISYARN''

  The rather pedestrian Mr. Femi Adesina has submitted the equally pedestrian footnote that Fulani herdsmen killed 756 people in two years under the Jonathan regime. It is difficult to determine the object of Mr. Adesina's puerile submission. Is he saying that having slain innocent Nigerians in such large numbers during the previous regime, the herdsmen have same rights under this regime? Does he mean that nobody should complain since killings by the herdsmen ought by now to be a routine part of our regular life? Is he contending that if Jonathan killed by the thousands, Buhari can kill by the millions? Is this Mr. Adesina suggesting that nobody should blame the present government since over 700 of us were slaughtered under Jonathan with narry a cough from our blood congested throats? Or is he simply asking us "kini big deal?"

Whatever may have been this fellow's objective, it is a hollow submission and it ranks in pari passu with high level idiocy. It is abhorrent to reason, empathy and sympathy.

Only an unthinking and unfeeling sociopath would discuss an aggravated national disaster in terms of comparative statistics!

Femi had better watch his tongue
