My dad is also somewhat of an adventurous soul... He once flew a small single engine aircraft from Long Island, N.Y. to St. Croix in the U.S.V.I.... :D

The arm thing is kind of gross, but I tried to keep the gory details subdued. Logging tends to have some rather grizzly moments, one of my most prominent memories is when Dad came home with his knee mangled rather badly by a chainsaw. It stuck with me!
