Exterior Inspiration and Inner Light: Human Biophoton Emissions + Universal Conciousness
What is your life dream?
Do you want to be renowned for your work here on steemit?
Do you want to be a helpful + supportive voice for your community?
Do you want to share awareness about an important topic?
Do you simply strive for happiness?
What is holding you back from reaching that goal?
Don't even question it, of course you do.
Do you even have what it takes?
Personally, I seek unshakeable contentment.
I enjoy writing to bring people inspiration and self-confidence in their own powers that be. I want to let people know that through willpower and sourcing motivation you can overcome seemingly unsurmountable difficulties.
Our minds are so powerful we still can’t fully comprehend their limits and abilities through scientific means. As a species we are always on the brink of some novel discovery. This gives us individuals a bit of leeway to explore the unknown and discover. We are given an open end to fulfill ourselves through our mental and physical connections, if we choose to give minimal regard to the regulations of the scientific realm.
A huge part of success in reaching goals is finding the inspiration to bring you there.
Those little moments that make you sync with the present time, recognizing something spectacular. A well of divine inspiration to soak your self-confidence back to its power-full form. It’s like when you’ve been asking the universe for a sign and one so clearly presents itself.
There are many paths to finding the inspiration and motivation to overcome obstacles in your own life. Sometimes the inspiration comes as a directional clue, helping you move along the right path. Sometimes it appears as a ‘don’t go that way’ or a clear wake up call to leave behind destructive patterns and cycles in your life.
Plants have been really calling to me recently. I’ve been heavily inspired by the ecological knowledge exhibited by our First Nations in the States. The ability to work with the environment, helping it succeed through inhabitation and deep rooted reverential understanding has inspired me to seek natural knowledge and natural connection in every manner of my life.
Revering the nature around us does not mean staying out of our natural landscapes in the name of ‘preservation’, it means going deeper to attain true respect. It means connecting with the energies of the natural world to understand how to work with it. This skill is essential to natural living. We have been animals with a heavy hand in the natural cycles around us as far back as history can claim. Taking a step back and removing ourselves from this natural cycle has taken a big toll on our earth.
I recommend this documentary to help explain what I mean here about working with the land instead of protecting or ravaging our environment. We are part of a many layered system, and to help the system thrive we need to do our part. Just as animals have an effect on the plants in an ecosystem, we too should be harvesting, fertilizing and clearing plants to provide maximum potential for our environment. We too should be taking part in the seasonal cycles inherent to our habitats.
This inspiration is situationally exterior, bringing light to the incredible acts of others and motivating these changes in my own life. I plan to work with local resources, knowledgeable communities and the environment right outside my door to connect deeper with this inspiration. With all this in mind I tend to require some motivation from within as well.
So how can we motivate ourselves, even when we are feeling low-energy?
We have access to a lot of knowledge through the ever-flowing energy around us. If energy is not destroyed, simply transferred, then much of the energy we experience is existing in a cycle of movement from one energetic material to the next.
Our brains function electromagnetically. We are electric energetic beings. Our thoughts and memories appear as electric signals in our brains, so what happens to this electricity when we pass on from this physical body?
In Hindu tradition there is a concept called the Akashic Field. This field is the source of all energy that is, was and ever will be. A dynamic and holistic force, it is consciousness itself. The force from which our worlds were created, and how the worlds stay in form. Some other descriptions of this idea could be God Consciousness, or perhaps a form of omniscient omnipresent ether.
If we set aside presupposed ideology, and take a moment to explore this idea, we can see that through this energy field we can access all inspiration + information we seek. Historically and cross culturally, there are occurrences of knowledge being passed down to an individual through a moment of ‘illumination’. Recent scientific studies have given rise to a new field of interest, Biophotonics.
Various studies have shown the production and role of biophotons in the human brain to be very important in how we process information.
Electrical and biochemical processes in the brain represent sensory information from the external world. During encoding or retrieval of information, electrical signals of neurons can be converted into synchronized biophoton signals by bioluminescent radical and non-radical processes. Therefore, information in the brain appears not only as an electrical (chemical) signal but also as a regulated biophoton (weak optical) signal inside neurons. (Bókkon I., 2009)
In essence, we receive energy input from the world which we then interpret with our human senses. The brain processes this information through various means, commonly sight, sound, taste, smell, & touch. But these perceptions are not direct source input, instead they are translated sensations between the input energy and the perceiver. The vibrations of sound, for example, are only vibrational energies until we translate them into electrical impulses through our cochlea which we can then perceive as sound instead of vibrational waves.
If a tree fell in the forest without someone to hear it would it make a sound?
Not quite. It would make a vibration, but the concept of sound itself is dependent on vibrational interpretation made by ear-havin’ animals like us humans.
The process of sight interprets photon stimuli into electrical impulses and simultaneously biophotonic impulses within our brain. When we imagine, we can often visualize vivid pictures or scenes that are not visually present in our concurrent environment. These biophoton emissions within our brains are literal illuminations.
As Kobayashi states (2009), “The human body literally glitters”. While these photonic emissions are weaker than human eyesight allows, they are constant and rhythmic within all living beings. Plants and bacteria, vertebrates of all sorts, we all emit and communicate using light energy, even if we can’t fully understand it yet.
So how does this come back to self-motivation + realizing we are our own most powerful resource?
Let’s recall that idea of illumination. A pouring in of divine intelligence. A sudden lightbulb moment of scientific discovery.
These big moments of conscious knowledge inheritance are often described with words rooted in light.
As a light emitting and translating creature yourself, you have this pure biophotonic energy form within you, truly an inner light.
The translation of energy within the cochlea from vibration to sound is done through liquid and hairs. Humans are constantly interacting with the fluid-like atmosphere around us, in the forms of liquids, gases and plasma. Could it then make sense that we are constantly processing the sensory information present in these fluids? These vibrational energies which are ever-present and ever moving through these fluids are constantly interacting and exchanging information with our own magnetic, energetic, + biophotonic emissions.
As energy dissipates and moves through time, it passes energy through mediums, translating information.
We can access this essential information through meditation and concentration. Thinking back on the idea of the Akashic Field, it holds informational records in an energetic field analogous to an accessible library. The source of all information: past events, present occurrences and future possibilities.
This ‘hall’ of records is simply an external way to imagine this holistic vibrational field of information embedded in the billions of particles and energetic beings around us. This information is accessible through multiple means, but I will simply mention some simple and personal methods: meditation, divination + journaling.
When we are stuck with a difficult decision or seeking more information on a specific matter, we can sit and focus on this question. Clearing our mind and remembering that energy is ever constant, ever vibratory, ever moving, we can look for this information to illuminate the energy around us, bringing us closer to accessing this information ourselves.
Yesterday morning I was wondering:
How can I focus my efforts on understanding the utility of the plants around me?
I was thinking back on someone talking about meditation with plants to understand their uses for reiki. Then I casually noticed upon opening my Instagram some flower essences bottled up and ready to give their medicine values to whoever made them. Later in the day, my mom introduced me to a recent companion and now good friend. This woman almost immediately began talking about creating flower essences in tune with each tarot card to help diagnose and treat illnesses. She talked to us about meditating with plants, listening to the flower or plant in question in order to understand how it can help us.
She mentioned that when she and another friend were doing this together, they would journal their experience and talk afterwards about the associations that came to mind when meditating on the particular flower. They had both written down the same things. Flower after flower, plant after plant. These correlations were too deep for them to brush aside.
These plants were emanating these energetic associations, and these women were able to connect with this energetic emanation and translate it through their own sensory perceptions, resulting in congruent information between them.
We can facilitate this with anything in our lives. I like to use tarot cards to access this universal energy when dealing with personal obstacles or stagnancies in my own life. Focusing on the matter at hand, I ground myself and take note of the energetic vibrations around me. All senses heightened and aware, I shuffle my deck as I think of a presentable question and I draw cards according to the situation.
Tarot is just one way of divinatory access, and while the multitude of styles and decks work well for some people, for others this just doesn’t fit. Perhaps reading tea leaves, Norse runes or Celtic ogham fews are a closer call to your heart. Perhaps you would prefer meditating on a single object and allowing images to flood your mind through this concentrative meditation, check out scrying.
Another way of access to this plethora of knowledge is automatic writing. Allowing your mind and script to flow freely as you write through a situation, no edits no worries about what is to come. Simply set your question in mind and write. Some people experience incredible situations during automatic writing where the information flows so quickly and freely that it can seem fully external in input, even exhibiting changes in their handwritten script.
When we have worked through our obstacles, we can focus on the true heart desire. If our goal in life is as simple as being happy, we can bring ourselves to a blissful state of being entirely self-induced. Gen Kelsang Nyema explains that happiness and sadness are mental states, and while we often make these mental states dependent on exterior influences, by nature these exist wholly in the mind and therefore can be manipulated by it (see her Tedx Talk here). We can shape and manage the energy around us by choosing to engage our own energy with the universally irreducible forms of vibrational energy and photonic light ever-present around us.
When we are seeking to overcome deep obstacles, we can meditate variously on ways to solve or circumvent these issues in our lives. As we do this, we should visualize our highest goals as already realized.
As my childhood muse J.K Rowling once wrote,
“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
Till next time,
stay wild, be sweet

what a fascinating post chalk full of so much goodness and inspiration! i've resteemed your post @the-hearth, @mountainjewel's curation page for all things earth-centered. Hope these ideas can reach more eyes. Especially loved the pairing of plants with tarot and ascertaining energies to make connections toward healing. Well done! <3
Thanks so much @the-hearth and @mountainjewel for sharing this piece. I think that she will create some incredible medicine with the tarot flower essences. The quantity and diversity of the cards is quite versatile, and medicine is a perfect way to use that versatility.
