WHY YOU MUST BE SPIRIT ASSISTED

Every great man on earth has a secret to his success in life. You cannot go through life without a spiritual backing, for we were created to be spirit assisted individuals. People in different religions know this and so they all have their source of power.

The christian source of power is the Holy Spirit which is also the spirit of God. Without him we are nothing and will surely amount to nothing. The spirit of God is what quickens our mortal bodies to have life and so it is important having his presence continually in our life.

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.Romans 8:11

TAKE NOT THY HOLY SPIRIT FROM ME

Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Psalm 51:11

David a spiritual man knew the essence of having the Holy Spirit in his life and so he prayed that God creates in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit in him. This was a man who had sinned and his heart corrupted by evil but wasn't so worried about the punishment that would be meted on him but God's spirit that will leave him because of his sins.

If a mighty man of valor who could slay giants saw how important it is to have God's spirit in his life then we also under the new covenant needs God's spirit more than ever.

It is interesting how people would want to journey through life with just their senses, knowledge and experience alone. The world is not just controlled by human wisdom and knowledge but also ruled by invisible or spiritual forces and this is why we must be spirit assisted individuals to be able to live in our world today. Here is what the bible says:

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

There are powers, rulers, and principalities that rules this world. One will only be a fool if he begins to think the world we live in is just as we see it.

EVERY CHILD OF GOD NEEDS THE HOLY SPIRIT

It is a must for every child of God to have His Spirit. The day you become or became born again is or was when the Holy Spirit comes or came upon you and unless you go wayward or live in sin the Holy Spirit is on you and in you every time.
There is no power you should desire more than God's power, every power still surrenders to God's power.

You can have power from many sources but the sure and the right source is to go to God. Your desire and affection should be set on God.

To David, having the holy spirit continually was all that he desired. His money can be taken away, even his family and his entire investments he has toiled for but not the Holy spirit. He turns into a new man, an extraordinary and uncommon man when the spirit of God is upon him.

A Christian cannot miss the spirit of God. There must be a continual indwelling of the Spirit of God in our lives as believers of God.

Jesus had always assisted and supported his disciples spiritually and he could only have done that by the Holy spirit. He knew the disciples can't win the battles of this world with the rulers ,powers and principalities of this world without the Spirit of God and so he told them to wait till they receive the Holy Spirit :

And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Acts 1:4-5

They needed only on thing, "power" if they will survive in this world.

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”Acts 1:8

Friends the world we live in is not just as we see it, there are powers behind the scenes. Don't just be an empty and a natural man, go for the Holy Spirit.
