The most painful thing that can happen to a man is not about loosing his life but wasting his life. There is a reason for your living and living will mean nothing to you if you haven't discovered the reason why you on the planet earth. We call it purpose.

Purpose is why you were born, it is the reason why God created you. Before you were formed God had already planned your life. He wants you to be exactly how he has destined you to be.
God has scheduled everything to happen in your life in His own time and not according your time. He is the architect of your life who determines when everything he has said concerning your life will be fulfilled. If this is the case then there will be no need for us to do anything but wait till God's time is due. If it is the case then God must be blamed if anything goes wrong in our life. Perhaps that's what you will say but that's not the case.
God plans our life with a purpose but the fulfillment of the purpose depends on us. We all have our part to play. You can't sit down idly and expect that all things work together for your good. You have to discover why you were born yourself.
What are some of things you passionately love to do, what are the things you easily do, what are some of things you are able to do differently from others....perhaps they are your God given gifts or talents that He wants you to use and they will give you a clue to why you were born.
God has already determined it but you got to make it happen. That's the role you need to play. Do what is expected of you: discover the reason for your existence, make adequate plans towards fulfilling that purpose.
People who have succeeded or are succeeding in life are people who are doing what God created them to do. My number one definition of success is fulfilling your purpose, becoming the person you are meant to be in life, that's success. Comparing yourself to someone else will lead you nowhere, just sit down, pray to God, search within you and you will find your purpose.

Indeed, we all have a part to play to living fulfilled lives. But we would scarcely do this if we've not discovered our purpose. This is the reason why everyone must first discover his or her purpose to live a meaningful life.

This by all standards is the most amazing write up. The message is clear and sensitive. Sometimes Christians spend time in church and pray continiously without working at achieving their goals. God is indeed the master planner and we must work hard toward achieving the good plans he has for us. The Bible tells us to be diligent and I agree with you Pastor Collins.
