77-year-old sentenced to 10 years for growing marijuana
This is absolutely crazy. Putting someone in jail for growing a plant for personal use is a waste of time, tax payer money, and robs this woman of her freedoms and probably the rest of her life. Legalization cannot come soon enough, the war on drugs has been a catastrophic failure that has enriched people on both sides leaving the general public to suffer in the middle.
