Religion could be seen as one of the many doors towards some degree of spirituality...
I have to rise my hat up for not only daring to write about such an intimate experience, but more importantly for opening yourself to us in such a clear manner. Thank you, much blessings for your being here.
Often those labelled as "healers" have a tendency to overdo it in some ways and, therefore, drain themselves. Finding a middle path between what is given and what is grounding one is a perpetual dance.
Partaking to the healing process through allowing ourselves to open up as channels to and for the divine energies that sustain life to actualize healing can easily be a demanding process. Keeping a healthy balance of energies within is equally important as keeping the cup half full in relation to our emotions. From that stand point, taking as much good care of oneself to be able to help others better becomes paramount. A life of service necessarily includes service toward oneself as much as self there might be involved...
I personally can't believe in over loving as love is a limitless space that has room for all and everyone, starting with one self especially in cultures where self-hatred is actually a "reality" for some! In other cultures where self-hatred doesn't exist, it is simply called a life of service.
In relation to enlightenment, I was talking to a friend of mine again yesterday and sharing that it is but a moment in one's life. A defining moment one can't erase or live without as it opened up on a reality one can not undo. From there, there process of self-realization is as long as the path to get to enlightenment.
As we go from one step to another, there are periods of digestion necessary for the soil of our souls to acclimatize itself to the new surroundings. In this important period, we learn to integrate the teachings we opened ourselves to as well as the speed at which we allow it to occur as the faucet can be infinitely open.
Life always provides for life. Your worth resides in your potential to bring about the flow of life here and now in as many moments as you may. You are a spirit experiencing what it is to be human. You are infinite potential of love toward all, everyone and everything. You are divine limitless spacious light. You are worth all the love in the world and so is everyone and everything worth all the love that you are.
Empathy is an essential door toward the refinement of love toward all, a key to the blossoming of love into a very potent flower. May you till the soil love for its grounds to be able to breath, for its soil the find the right balance of water to thrive and therefore allow life to grow.

Thanks for the encouragement and kind words. I am glad to have finally gotten past my own self limitations and it's so odd seeing things that I hadn't before. It's almost like I've been half asleep through life and realized the spectrum of my awareness is greater than I previously believed. I think it will be an interesting journey.
