I focused a lot on my dreams starting at 16 to 17 years old and achieved them but through the struggle, I came to realize that Principle-based values (i.e. Initiative, Vision & Time Management) are more important than outcomes. In the long run, focusing on Principle-based values will produce better results than being outcome-centered... but it took me years of living to realize that.
