Steak: A Restaurant For The Meat Lover At Silverstar Casino

Silverstar Casino is surrounded by parts of the Magalies Mountains, offering excellent entertainment and superb dining.

The women in my family started a little tradition of celebrating the August/September birthdays every year at the "Steak" restaurant in Silverstar Casino. None of us gambles but a friend suggested the place 7 years go to my sister as the best Steak house in our area and since our first visit in 2010 we got hooked. Within August and September, we have 13 female and 3 male birthdays in our family.

Not only do they serve mouth watering dishes but they have the most beautiful setting as you can look out on the water fountains while dining. The interior with its classic designs inspired by Las Vegas with instrumental music playing softly in the background and their friendly and helpful staff creates a warm ambiance.

On the photos above and below you can see the bar and part of the dining area. They have designated areas on the second floor for private functions which is excellent if you want to have some privacy away from the other diners.

The crazy women in this family loves to share food so we will all decide together what dishes we will get and who is sharing with who, this way we get to state all the dishes, quite scandalously I know, but tons of fun.

Our all-time favorite starter is halloumi cheese wrapped with bacon drizzled with a sweet-chilli sauce and lemon on the side.

"Steak" is a signature restaurant in Gauteng, specialising in meat. Their steaks are soft and juicy and you are absolutely spoiled for choice. Below is a ladies portion of Sirloin Steak topped with avo and biltong (South African dried meat), vegetables and baked potato with sour cream.

Their lamb shank is to die for as it absolutely melts away in your mouth leaving behind the most wonderful flavored experience in your mouth, served with a choice of vegetables or salad and mash.

They offer a variety of dessert which all are absolutely sinful no matter what your choice, from peppermint tart to the families favorite pavlova.

If you are ever out and about looking for an excellent dining experience then this is the place to visit. You truly get your moneys worth at this restaurant.
