How to control your dream

Everyone dreams and I am especially curious about dream. When I was a teenager, I often had dreams within a dream, something like Iteration loop in software programming, that is when you "wake up" , you found yourself actually not in the reality, so you are still dreaming. What I can remember is I can have three iterations in my dream.

If you are aware of your dream, that's called "lucid dream". If you find yourself in a lucid dream, congratulations! that means you can do something you cannot or dare not in day time, e.g. making love with a girl or boy, flying higher in the sky or beat a person you dislike. However, mostly you cannot be aware you are dreaming in your dreams, not to mention control the dream.

Don't be disappointed, you can manipulate your dream after some trainings and these trainings are quite simple. I will tell you how to achieve it because this is my own experience. When you wake up after a dream, write it down when it is still fresh in your mind. You can prepare a booklet beside your bed and be ready to write any dream in it whenever. This is quite easy to singles but difficult for those married people, since you will affect your couples when you do this in the middle night. For those married guys, I suggest you replay the dreams in your mind when you wake up and try to document them early in the morning.

After weeks of training, you can be aware of dreams when you are asleep. Then the next step is keep yourself calm, otherwise you could wake up. Not to do anything at the beginning, just follow up with what's happening. You can try to learn how to observe the persons, enviroment and your thoughts in the dream. Then gradually, you can do something to control the dream, e.g. scrutinizing a book, you will find the texts in the book look so clear compared what you can see when you are awake. You can try to fly yourself or give somebody a blow.

Sometimes I got scared in my dream and I know when to go to return to the reality, since there are always an interface for me, e.g. a bed or a river. I know if I jumped to the bed or threw myself into the river, I could get back. Some scientists said the essence of death and living is actually the switch of consciousness, which I cannot agree more according to my experience of switch between dream and reality.

I don't suggest play with this game for long time, because you will feel exausted after one month or so without enough sleep at night.

I've had a handful of lucid-dream experiences. In my most recent lucid dream I began meditating and it was unlike any spiritual experience I have ever had. The entire scenery began taking on new shapes and colors and I abruptly awoke.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I also once practiced Chinese meditation ( Qi Gong ) in lucid dream and it felt so good.
