I think we are so scared of the after life because its the ultimate unknown with no coming back. We are all craving answers in this finite life so how would an infinite after life be for our minds to comprehend? I think that the after life could be any manifestation you make it, i don't think everyone will be experiencing the same thing and if your choice is to experience nothing then perhaps that's what you get
