So many stop posting

When the price of Steem goes down. I wonder if they know how little sense that makes. Its not that I don't understand them, I do. But, I think they don't understand how Steem works themselves.

The way this all works out is really simple. If the price of Steem is down, you will probably collect more tokens, with a smaller payout on your posts. Yes, if you sell the tokens they won't be as valuable, but when Steem increases in valuation, you will effectively have more value in your wallet too.

Ask yourself a question. How many Steem where mined when Steem was 88 cents, 20 cents, 4 cents? You understand what I mean? In short, if steem was pennies today, I could power up hundreds of steem tokens with smaller posts. That sounds like an opportunity to me, does it not?

If you are feeling a little bummed out because the valuation of Steem is down, you are not seeing the bigger picture. Don't slow down, speed up.

All the best

We had this very conversation the other day @helpies ;-) And as always, you're spot-on again! Thanks for your continued quality posts @chbartist :-)

Good point. I heard about this behavior patterns and i'm always asking myself why they occur.

If somebody has no money to invest, they might have the feeling that there posts are really getting worthless. For Newcomers it is pretty hard to get a stand.

All other steemians should power up while steem is dipping. Steem should be something for long term not short term.

Thanks for sharing. In my case, I have other jobs to attend and sometimes I find it impossible to post, especially when I have to travel. I am relatively new in the community and the one that lowers or raises the currency does not see it as an excuse to stop posting. Obviously I respect the opinion of each one.

I agree. Low price of steem is favorable for those who can't afford to buy them during high prices.

I do not really think about steem prices rise or fall, I keep posting @chbartist.karena steem is not solely a goal in making posts. thanks @chbartist already shared

Thanks for the advice, it's true what you have to do is accelerate, then go back up.

Good question and good advice, thank you, @chbartist.

I agree with you and I never stop posting. I do see participation dwindle when the price falls but I figured out the same thing you did. I don't get why people stop posting.

to be honest I'm actually not clear with cryptocurrency but with this explanation I'm beginning to understand quite a bit how this steem works

Thanks for sharing.
