What a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing this. It is funny now, but during that era it was shameful. It happened to my husband's aunt. his mother was forced to adopt the baby because they wanted the baby to kept in the family. Crazy times.

there was a lot of that in those generation, stories made up to cover up. My mother never really shook it off until after her grandchild was born and how could she feel shame over that beautiful child.
