Hey, @michelle.gent. I remember thunder mugs! They were named that for a reason. Also a bit smelly if I remember correctly. Better than going to the outside toilet (outhouse which was even smellier) in the middle of the night during a rain storm. For some reason, our outhouse was at the very end of the garden-a very long run for short legs...
Yes! Ours was at the other end of a short garden too... but it was still a long way in the dead of night in the rain :)
