Women As Revolutionaries

Revolutionaries take different approaches to reach their goals.

Yoko Ono gave her thoughts on (John) Lennon's approach and how he expressed it in this song (Revolution):
“John's idea of revolution was that he did not want to create the situation where when you destroy statues, you become a statue.”
“And also what he means is that there's too much repercussion in the usual form of revolution. He preferred evolution.”
“So you have to take a peaceful method to get peace rather than you don't care what method you take to get peace, and he was very, very adamant about that.”

In these times of unprecedented transformation of our human family, our precious women are awakening to the extraordinary peaceful power that lies within.

The women pioneers and vanguards of this evolution are consciously stepping out of the old paradigm of control, inequality and subjugation, to stand proud in their femininity; an authentic femininity, which does not emulate the unconscious, macho-masculinity.

They are leading the charge of change in their homes, parenting, communities, education and businesses to name a few, sweeping away that which does not work, or serve the betterment of humanity.

Peace, compassion and bravery are in their hearts, for it is rare that a woman has instigated waging war against another country or nation.

Our human family needs nurturing, caring and cooperation to re-evolve into what we have forgotten. The time of remembering, re-membering, becoming a true member of society and our human family is nigh and it is women who are showing us the way.

Here is a selection of very fine examples of women and with their inspirational words, they leave a legacy:

  • Eleanor Roosevelt - “Do one thing every day that scares you.”
  • Virginia Rometty - “I learned to always take on things I’d never done before. Growth and comfort do not coexist.”
  • Mother Teresa - “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
    J.K Rowling - “It is our choices, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.”
  • Louise Hay – “Life is a lottery and we have already won. But most people have not cashed in their tickets."
  • Marsha Petrie Sue – “Every day is a new beginning. Treat it that way. Stay away from what might have been and look at what can be.”
  • Elizabeth Cady Stanton – “The best protection any woman can have…is courage.”

It is time that we men and women remember that together, we can create miracles.

I agree, but most women have failed themselves.

Thanks for your comment @ambdavid and ultimately, we are all responsible for the condition(s) we are experiencing. Like it or not(and I do and support it 100%) there is a revolution of consciousness growing among women, which will change the world.
