This time last year I was in Europe - traveling the world with my partner (at the time), pretending to be living the dream.
I did the usual thing - posting photos across all social media platforms to prove how happy I was. Despite being in some of the most breathtaking places in the world, I still longed for that deep fulfilment, satisfaction and connection.
No matter where in the world I was, who I was with, or what I was doing, I wasn't happy.
You can only deny this reality that lies within for so long before the thunder unravels, the storms yell, and you have no choice but to set yourself free.
One year later, I'm single, re-grouping, re-connecting, and realising my authentic self.
It's been a crazy process, but empowering nonetheless.
