What do you think of the idea of "Dark" energy and matter who may have opposite properties than the matter we interface with every day? Dark gravity seems to be the force that is causing the ever accelerating expansion of our known universe after all...
It has been argued that the dark energy hypothesis is a conventionalist hypothesis, that is, a hypothesis that adds no empirical content and hence is unfalsifiable in the sense defined by Karl Popper.
