My first day back to classes after the Christmas break. Today I learned just how diverse mosses are and how little attention people pay to them. I need to learn how to look at things on a smaller scale and in much more detail to do well in this class.
Alberta has large diversity of mosses compared to the other provinces with 550 species out of 1200 found in all of Canada. 550sp in BC. 468sp in ON etc.

Here is a reading technique I used to get my students to learn. My expectation would be that they would get 100 percent in their course work.

Alternatively maybe you need glasses...

Interesting. I studied about mosses a year ago. They are extremely important during the early stages of ecological succession. Though most species of mosses are not of any direct economic importance, and none are a food source for humans. Or do you know any that are of food source for human?

I do not know much about them yet, but I do agree that they have a great ecological importance that many people overlook and take for granted.

Why have you stopped posting? It is over a month?
