Day 400 | 100 Day Roadmap

I started a challenge of taking 100 days off to mainly focus on my health and overall personal development and used this account as a personal blog. I enjoyed it and continued afterward trying to build better habits and find a good balance between health, work and my personal life...

So I really relapsed the last couple weeks after getting back from my Ski vacation and with day 400 behind me it's the perfect time to do another 100 day period just as when I started having really tight rules that help to make some progress.

I will split them up in 10 day sequenses as I go along each time having a very clear goal I want to reach. To start off the first 10 days I will go completely back to the basics from these last 400 days in a way that doesn't require that much aside from a good routine and gives me something to build upon. I won't go into any extremes right away.


Day 0-10 Goals

  • Eat Healthy: This means pretty much whole food plant based, no refined sugars, only driking water, ... I am quite comfortable with this already and it gives huge amounts of benefits. Despite it not having the feeling that I give up on anything, it still has not been easy to maintain this for the full 400 days. I guess old habits die hard and it takes quite some effort to completely overwrite some core mechanics in the brain that crave for sugar, salts and fats.

  • Work Out: I won't go full active mode right away yet but plan on doing a daily walk of at least 10000 steps each of the next 10 days. I will expand upon that afterwards with more hot yoga sessions and getting back to doing daily reps.

  • Sleep Routine: My sleeping pattern was somewhat disrupted by the long travel days but have been able to keep it quite balanced. I will start tracking my daily going to sleep and waking up times again which really helped.

  • Distractions: Something I wanted to do forever is to fully give up my bad habit of watching porn getting some cheap reward center stimulation. I will comit to 100 days witout it fully from now on.

  • Daily Checklist: I only realised how much the daily checklist helped me after I for some reason stopped adding them to my blogposts. I will bring it back and it will include the same basic things as before. Eating Healthy, woring out, taking supplements, making sure my appartment stays clean, ... I will also keep track of much more data like my expenses, earnings, ... during the next 100 days which hopefully will be quite interesting to analyse.

Thanks Sasha, got to get back to the basics first. I really have been eating like a oig the last couple of weeks. Need to get that out of my system first :)

Travel really does derail a lot of people! At least you have all of those old routines to go back to where you know you will find success again soon! Birthday season kind of knocked me around a bit, so I'm tightening up on my habits again, as well. Especially since I'm a month out from my half marathon and want to perform at my best! Thanks as always for sharing your goals as it is motivating for many of us to share in it!
