Who's Really An Expert?
Never get down on yourself for attempting to learn things the hard way. The hard way consists of taking criticism, ridicule, and being made fun of. There are those that will nudge you in the right direction and then there are those that will use your struggle for entertainment. Be grateful for all the things that motivate you to get better and pursue success. Sometimes we need people to laugh at us in order to create urgency inside ourselves.
Jesus Was Nailed To A Cross And Treated Like Dirt
Im not religious at all but I will use it as an example. Who can be more "right" than Jesus Christ the SON OF GOD?? Human beings did him dirty and left him bloody and nailed on a cross for the whole world to see. Be mindful of where you are and be aware of how human beings are. Consider that people enjoyed seeing people go through misery BEFORE, DURING, and AFTER the bible days.

Winners use ridicule as rocket fuel. Blast off young man and keep winning.

This is very true. There are certain lessons that are best learnt the hard way. For me, I can better understand precious advice when I have already experienced something of the difficulties in learning something myself. And, it also exercises my own ability to think through situations.
