My Wife Broke Her Thumb!

My wife has had a sore thumb for close to a month. Been slowly getting worse and today she decided to go to the doctor, had some x-rays and the verdict, broken thumb! I feel really bad for her, a whole month with a broken thumb without knowing. She is in a splint now and needs to keep the thumb isolated for six weeks before being able to see a plastic surgeon, who will hopefully be able to repair any damage that's been in there.

She is on summer break right now so she has a few weeks of healing before going back to work but still sucks to be down a thumb for at least six weeks. I hope she has a speedy recovery.
