Looks like you are well on your way to having yourself a pretty groovy billfold.. When I am doing skulls, the modeling tools....spoon and ball...get the workout as they are the tools that make the depressions and shasows (okay the small pear shader as well). The finish really sells the deal. I use a clear acrylic as a resist on the bones and then hi-lite stain over the rest with a bit of brush work with the darkest color. Are you planning on coloring your snake in some fashion?

Unfortunetelly i have no tools (like svievel knife beveler etc) suitable for leatherworking. I'm going to get some from Aliexpress shop. I use screwdriver to "stamp" the leather. I think that i will paint the skull with acrylic paints.
For finish i use grease and this "apretto"

A screwdriver you say? Now I am impressed! Well there will be no stopping you once you have a set of tools in your hands. If money is an issue, (and when isn't money an issue at every level of life) you can get fairly big sets of tools out of China off of Ebay, shipped for not much money. Now they are not tools to last a lifetime. Just do a search on Ebay for leather stamps. Also there are always used sets on Ebay. I buy 40-50 year old discontinued tools that way and that is one way I keep my look being different from the rest. Keep at it and keep posting your work. --Armadilloman
