If i hear the word 'awakening', i identify that with the global human enlightenment. Unless some external force will shine upon us, we are far away from that. In that sense, i like your approach as a step in between and a bit more feasible, although still far away.
Steemit as an awareness engine, yes, awareness is the key to the awakening you talk about, very nice post @michellcarter, big hug.

I did mean to talk about the 'global human enlightenment' but went off track a bit, but I'm feeling that was probably soul guided, because this external force needs us to lighten and raise the vibration here on earth so it can reach us! So yes this is a step to getting that happen. As the two work together then hopefully it's not so far away!
