Shoveling the snow off my roof "The Easy Way(TM)", NOT!

Today we had an additional 2 inches added to our already 13 inch snow pack making a total of 15 inches of snow on my roof.
With more snow and freezing rain expected overnight, I thought it would be a good idea to shovel my roof.
I hadn't shoveled a roof in over 25 years.
It was a lot of work and I nearly had frostbite on my hands and feet by the time I was finished for the evening.
