ITS MONDAY AGAIN GIRLS!! #NEEDLEWORKMONDAY FUN
Embroidery on a simple Jersey dress. It took hours and hours but was wurth it.
The dress was a easy-to-wear flaired sleeve Jersey model from the sale, but boring!
Hate Boring!
Solution : I bought an embroidery pattern to iron on the sleeve, you See the pattern through little stripes on the fabric and it washes away and I just started sewing. I used all kinds off colors embroidery jarn and now its not an ordinary boring jersey anymore!
Inside the sleeves you can see I am not the world best needler on monday buttttt .... nobody can see the flaws😉
The outside matters most and the pink is more beautiful with all the bright colors I sew on it. I brought it to Portugal so here am I in My own re-created dress.
Even bought some materiaal in the shops here for My needleworkmonday at home... things to mend jeans.

It worked out well in the end and When I now wear the dress its more special and My husband loves the color!
What a beautiful idea to spruce up an already nice (but a bit boring, you're right) dress. These colourful flowers make it just the right thing to wear during the summer.
All these pictures of embroided things make me think about maybe doing such things, too. If only I didn't hate sewing by hand that much ;)
It was a hell off a job, my mum used to do this on table clothes When we were little but this was si much work she could have told me in advance !
I lived doing it in the first months off the year for this summer so There was No time pressure. I had a moment of Embroidery crafting every evening When the kids were going to bed. But next time a smaller patch I am sure

It makes the dress pop! I like the embroidery it's so beautiful, and don't worry about the swings on the back, you wouldn't wear it backwards anyways... I took a picture, I think I'll make something like this, although I don't do embroidery, I only just sew. Thanks for sharing
Start small this was a monster job but a cheap dress became one off My favorites

Oh My dear it was a hell off a job that turned out great and I love the dress
