On this day, Tuesday 3 May, the sun is the center of attention. Many lectures and conferences are organized throughout the day to discuss the importance of solar energy.

The International Sun Day was proclaimed in 1978 by the then president Carter of the United States, who wanted to propagate the development of solar energy.
At Our country in the Netherlands, the politicsl party KiesZon ​​is of course very much in favor of more attention for sustainable, green energy and therefore seizes this day to raise awareness of this matter both internally and externally!
