4 o’clocky TINY HOUSES ALL AROUND
Some time ago I’ve written about the [‘best’ time to submit a blogpost (https://steemit.com/life/@brittandjosie/4-oclock-steem-time) so you’ll receive worldwide exposure. I came up with the term 4 o'clocky and I thought this might be a great idea to make a blog post every day at 4 o'clock local time with this title. Every day I’ll submit a blogpost about something that keeps me busy, what I have to laugh about, what I think about and so on.... so Lets blog on, here we go!
This My 4 o’clocky for today...
Its about tiny houses. Due to more people wanting houses and to less houses avialable, the New concept of a tiny houses was Born.
The Tiny House movement has its origins in America. In 1997 architect Sarah Susanka launched her book The not so Big. It was an instant success and it was immediately clear that her book became a sensitive chord with the American public. Her main motto is: Build better, not bigger. She is a great supporter of a more sustainable life with fewer things. The idea behind it is: what is good for you is also good for the planet. Susanka won quite a few prestigious prizes and was even allowed to join Oprah in her show.
The Netherlands followed in 2015. One of the first pioneers is Marjolein Jonker. She had the feeling that in her 'happy in a row house' she had 'messed up' with three bedrooms on her own. Very charmed by the Tiny Houses she found on American sites she went in search of Dutch Tiny Houses, which did not appear to be there yet. That did not stop her and she decided 'just' to have a Tiny House built and live there permanently. Together with others she founded Stichting Tiny House Nederland. Here too, the houses hit a sensitive string. In no time Marjolein was followed by the Dutch media. More and more people stood up and started building their Tiny House.
Even Our oldest daughter lives in a dorm with 20 tiny rooms. 15 m2 Where everything is hers.
I think this Will be the future. More people can live in fewer Space.
Have ........... day! And remember :

i agree with your post. We need tiny house with large garden. We can manage house well and make our earth better. More space to create oxygen adn make rain can infiltrate into the soil and it is good for water source.
Its a great idea for the whole world
House's in new zealand are so expensive - in the future we plan to build a tiny house!
Always liked this concept. Would be so cool to design and build one someday!
