Chicken killer?
Many of you who watch this will come to the conclusion that what you see appears to be unsafe.
For us, having allowed Candy to interact with our birds since they were day old chicks we are confident and leave her alone with the birds often.
A number of the birds will typically challenge her, and she knows that she is not the boss.
She is actually quite gentle with them and is very protective of them.
Please watch stress free as the birds are safe :)
I couldn't help but be reminded of Foghorn Leghorn and his pal Barnyard Dawg.

She might think she's a chicken, but we are certain she ALWAYS wants to play with them!
Awe, she wants to play with them. We got chicks this year for the first time and watching them has been fun. They run and play with each other. It brings alive the expression "not a spring chicken anymore"

Training our pets can be done. I do the same with my dog abd cats on the homestead. Everyone lives together. The dogs and cats even protect the chickens, rabbits and pigs.

Nice flock and pup. My boxer dog and cat do quite well with my chickens, never had any difficulty. They mingle about each other like they have been friends for years.🐓
