Baby Daze 10/21/18

Today was a quiet, lazy day. We watched The Secret Life of Pets this morning while Maverick slept in my arms. We made some progress on sitting calmly in his swing awake and self-soothing. He even put himself to sleep for a few minutes without getting fussy. We need to be able to put him down sometimes so we can get things done, so today was a step in the right direction. We are also learning his "cues" better so that we have his bottle ready before he fully wakes and starts crying. Baby man wants to eat as soon as he wakes...there is no waiting. This also helps him sleep better at night. It doesn't take nearly as long to get him back to sleep if he doesn't wake up crying.
