Grey daydreams

Yesterday was a particularly ethereal day with muted greys and rare streaks of golden sunshine.  The mood was contemplative and peaceful. Perfect for pottering around. We built a cubby house, played in the garden and I photographed ordinary things, colourful art and pretty nooks in my home. 

Home really is where the heart is, and today it happened to be in my actual house! 

So wander with me, on a happy little daydreamy kind of day. 

On a side note - I have furnished and decorated my home using almost exclusively recycled items. Things I have collected from tip shops, op-shops, garage sales, flea markets and the like. I love the unique character it gives a space. It is considerably cheaper and not to mention better for the environment than buying new.
