Lessons from Nature ~ The Scorpion
In nature we can find lessons even in the smallest beings, and todays lessons are from the scorpion.
At first glance the scorpion might appear deviously foreboding, but at a closer look it still remains the barer of some constructive lessons that we can apply in our own lives. Here are some of these lessons:
Control
Despite the scorpions immense capabilities to destruct, the scorpion does not go around inflicting venom randomly, no; the scorpion only delivers its poisonous sting when it serves his survival, so, either when he needs to eat in order to survive, or when he needs to protect himself.
We can take a direly needed lesson from this, our tempers and anger as well as the words that go with it is no less destructive than the poison of the scorpion, and as such we need to passionately control where we direct it.
Calculation
When the scorpion does approach pray his every move is well calculated, for the scorpion one uncalculated move could mean sure death.
This is a great lesson for most who tend to act irrationally or too impulsively when it comes to matters of importance, if we can harness our energy and conserve it by calculating the necessary steps, we would not be wasting our own resources unnecessarily.
Protection:
When we look at the composition of the scorpion we will immediately note the stinger and claws as well as the hardened exoskeleton, all in place to protect the scorpion, as humans we also have fire walls put in place to guard ourselves.
The lesson here poses a few questions to us:
• Is my protection locking myself away from good things and people in my life?
• Am I vulnerable or in need to protect myself?
• Do I maintain a healthy balance in my self protection?
That would be awesome to be part scorpion 🦂 Scorpioman!! Upvoted and resteemed!!
That would be great, dont think a scorpion mutation would be my first choice... but each one to his own LOL

Nice analogy breeze, I think the same thing about bees in terms of how they don't just sting at random :)
I hear you, it is the same with snakes as well...
A great photo and a valuable life lesson in one interesting post.
