Oh wow, that is a really sad ending to the story. My dad wanted to be in the Air Force too, but had bad eye sight. Instead he joined the Navy. Not as exciting as Larry, but still pretty interesting. Do we know if he drank all of the beers while he was up there?
i certainly hope he did. I think that maybe Larry didn't find this ride as relaxing as he had hoped.... he dropped his only method of descending and his glasses too!
